Family Room Re-Vamped

I have been wanting a change down in my family room for a long time.  I finally up and decided to do it without thinking anymore about it.  I LOVE how it turned out!

Cousins And Curiosity

 The Websters arrived late Saturday night.  We had some VERY excited kids, on both sides.  We spent Sunday at church, playing around and then had a bunch of extended family over for dinner.  I had told my kids that they could pick one day to skip school and since Wendy's family wanted to go to Thanksgiving Point's new Curiosity Museum we played hookie on Monday and went and had some fun.  Only Nathan went to school and he was definitely missed.  The kids all had a blast and enjoyed the museum and being together.

 ON Tuesday everyone went back to school, even Callie. Afterwards we went and had a picnic at Neptune Park.  Xander was sure missing his big boy cousins.

Women's Conference

 Annabelle and I got to attend Women's Conference at the Conference Center.  It was her first time being there in the presence of a Prophet of God and she was very excited.  Traffic was definitely against us but we made it there just in time.  Then we got in line to wait for Aunt Amy and Ellie.  Unfortunately they were a little late and we thought we wouldn't make it into the building and Annabelle didn't like the idea of going to the back of the line.  Luckily a lady near us heard my concerns to Annie and had 2 extra tickets.  We made it in the building but still wanted to wait for Amy so we could sit together.  Annabelle said a little prayer, right in front of this pretty fountain and Amy and Ellie arrived just in time.  It was a wonderful and inspiring night.  The speakers and music were just what I needed to hear after such a long and crazy day.  We got a little treat at Kneaders before heading home.  It was crowded and crazy all over, but fun to be around so many people with the same standards and beliefs.
