Mother's Day

Yes, I changed into pajama pants after church:)  I am surrounded by wonderful people and so I had a wonderful day.  I got a yummy crockpot breakfast casserole and tons of cards and treats in the morning.  At church the bishopric made it so all women were able to go to relief society and we chatted and ate treats.  It was packed and great to see everyone in there.  For lunch I had chips and cheese dip and then for dinner Greg and I made manicotti and garlic bread.  It was delish.  The Jones invited us over for games after and so we ended the night hanging with our dear friends.  Oh, and my son finally passed me up in height! He was VERY happy about that.

Kitty Birthday Party

Callie was very patient and waited a whole week after her birthday to have a friend party.  Her big sister loved that Callie let her help decorate the house and the cake this time.  They even made some kitty lego houses to display.

We played pin the bow on the kitty, check out all the kitty ears they are wearing.
We decorated cat bowls and played with string.  The string maze was a little touger than I thought, but it appeared they all had fun.
We made collars for the stuffed animal that everyone brought.  Simple and fun, that is my birthday motto.

We chased mice on a treasure hunt and found some yummy fishes instead.
So many fun friends!  Callie is blessed to have so many cute and sweet girls all around her.  I can't imagine moving from such a wonderful area.  They played kitty red light green light, love it!
Callie being shy again for her being sung to. Silly six year old!

Someday we will get to the point where we don't have to bring presents to parties, but Callie was in heaven and loved everything she got.

Kindergarten Farm Field Trip

I am so glad that i got to go on Callie's first and last kindergarten field trip.  She was both excited and nervous for the bus ride and we are so thankful that the rain held off until the end of our time at the farm.  The kids learned all about planting and farming and animals.  I was impressed that Callie even held a goat.  I know that I am definitely not a huge fan of farming.  The smell alone gets me every time.

Happy 15 Years!

For our anniversary this year we went to the Girl Scout Leader dinner, cowboy style.  I got a 15 year pin, ate some free food and even tried to rope a steer.  Greg was much better than I was, no surprise.  We had to leave the dinner a little early to make it over to the Stake Volleyball tournament.  Our ward didn't do so well, but we had fun and look forward to doing it every Thursday for awhile.  We really will celebrate in June when we go to Italy for an amazing 11 days.
