MLK Day

We tried to fit a lot in on Martin Luther King Day.  The older 3 kids had piano parties in the morning and then we headed off to the BYU Bean museum to meet some friends and cousins.  The museum is a lot nice than it was when Nathan was a frequent visitor 13 years ago.  My kids loved the scavenger hunt, trying to get all the animals A to Z.

We grabbed some ice cream at BYU (they REALLY need a bigger location!) and then headed over to the Provo rec center with our cousins.  That is a COOL place.  The kids had fun on the rock wall and then we went swimming with the rest of Provo.  It was packed and I was not too happy about going in the water, but I was a nice mommy and we played for an hour or so before we had to race home for play practice.  All four of my kiddos have decided to be in plays through the city. Annabelle and Callie are in The Wizard of Oz and Nathan and Ryan are in James and The Giant Peach.  We survived the day but we were all ready for bed at the end of it.
