When I got an email about a BYU basketball game that fell on an evening that we didn't have anything planned I knew we had to go. Originally it was supposed to start at 7pm. The day before they changed the start time to 9pm. OUCH! Greg and I decided we would still go for it. We got a cougar tail (maple donut) to share with everyone (Greg ate my portion and while I was sad, the couple bites I got where so sugary I was not too sad). We also got some fancy cotton candy-green caramel apple and pina colada. The game was exciting and fun and I am so glad that we went. We left with about 8 minutes left on the clock and got home after 11:30. Greg parked pretty far away and he gave me a piggy back ride for part of the way back (bad ankle) and then he and Ryan tried to fireman carry me. Silly guys, we probably looked really funny. I love all these pictures and the fun and enjoyment we had together.

PI Day and Other Baking Fun
We continue to hone our sourdough skills and try new things all the time. We've done bagels, waffles, pancakes, breads, and even pizza. It is fun and yummy and quite a learning process.

Redecorating and Fashion Show
I love changing things up in my home. Recently I read this fantastic chapter in my Gordon B. Hinckley church book and one phrase he said a lot was, "Life is Good." We had a big family home evening lesson about it and then I remembered that I had that saying downstairs in the basement. When we had re-painted a couple years back I had taken it off the wall and never put it back. I decided it was a great time to spruce it up and hang it up. I also made the Utah string art and it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I love the new look and I am so grateful that my cousin, Sarah, lives close and has a better eye than I do for these kind of things.
About a week before the fashion show happened, these noticed showed up all over the house. In every bedroom, or kitchen cupboards, everywhere-so cute. The girls played hard all Saturday and the 4pm time slipped by. When all friends but Kayla were gone I told the girls she could stay and do the show. It was awesome! The girls had all the outfits lined up. Callie was the announcer and had a little booklet of what to say. I love that they are still young and play and enjoy their imagination and creativity.

Happy Birthday Greg!
Callie was happy to help daddy put together the frisbee gold stand. They had fun playing and then Greg went to the course near our home a few times over the next 2 days.
